Raikkonen: "I didn't lose my speed"

Kimi Raikkonen is sure to be as fast as before leaving F1 when you return to Grand Prix racing with Team Lotus Renault next year

Finland signed a two-year contract with the team and will be returned to the cockpit after two years absence and adventures in the VRC Rally Championship and NASCAR series. Raikkonen, who was champion with Ferrari in 2007, says motivation is the highest possible level and it is certain that speed is not lost.
"I am motivated to the max and I do not think any of my lost speed. The hardest thing will be to get used to new tires, but honestly I'm not worried. While technical regulations do not change much, it is more areas and had some elements of cars when I was driving. The next year will be much different and you can 'break' the order that was placed last two years, so I think we'll have an interesting season, "Raikkonen said in an interview published on the website of his new team.
He added that the visit of the factory team has funneled optimism for the new season.
"My two visits to Enstoun were great. The first Christmas celebration was on the team and there I realized that I have great support team. Second last week showed me that this team was world champion by accident. Review all investments made in recent times - New building for simulator, new computer systems, 60 per cent wind tunnel ... It gave me great confidence for the new season. I was surprised by the reaction and it seems some people missing " added Raikkonen.
